On December 3rd, OurKnappyRootz returned back to the Buy From a Black Woman Holiday Market at the Eaton Centre, presented by H&M.
One moment that stood out came just before the market opened. A member of the setup team asked if we'd noticed something. At first we hadn't, but then they pointed out a mannequin wearing Sleeze, our premium adjustable bonnet. Seeing Sleeze displayed like that was a surreal moment for us.
The event, much like the Inspire Tour, was full of good conversations and a great crowd. It was a day of celebration, connection, and community.
We're so grateful to Buy From a Black Woman and H&M for giving us the opportunity to be part of this event. Thank you for creating spaces that empower and uplift Black owned businesses.
